PROJECT MANAGER

Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the basic function of the Project Manager is to be responsible for meeting mutually-established sales goals and to provide project leadership through the entire life of a project - from sales through to estimating, drafting, operations and the billing process. Particular emphasis to be placed on growing the light structural and ornamental metals division of the company.

Your Challenges
• Generate new leads and convert leads into sales
• Assist with business development
• Develop individual annual revenue forecasts
• Maintain strategic relationships with key clients, vendors, and other third parties
• Prepare job estimates and bid/tender documents
• Work with drafting to facilitate drawing development
• Work with Production to coordinate fabrication and installation of jobs
• Monitor job schedule, job costs and product/installation quality throughout the project
• Keep the client apprised of job progress and issues requiring client input
• Assure progress and final billings are timely and accurate
• Manage the change order process
• Follow all documented quality processes
• Ensure projects are in compliance with applicable building codes
• Work within the company´s health and safety program

Your Experience and Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in project management, drafting, technical engineering or similar
• Ten years in project management, estimating, business development, and/or sales in metal fabrication or construction industry preferably with a $5M plus revenue company
• CWB Supervisory Certification, an asset

STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATORS

We're looking for experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators.

Abilities and Qualifications:

• Plan and execute custom projects from start to finish including fabrication and installation
• 10 years of custom stainless steel fabrication experience
• Some commercial construction job site experience
• Read and interpret shop drawings
• Sheet metal layout, welding, polishing and installation experience
• Desire to produce a high quality product
• Proven track record of success
• Work flexible hours when projects call for it
• TIG welding and architectural metal fabrication experience are assets
• Valid driver´s license with good driving record and the use of a personal vehicle to/from job site when required
• Valid permit to work in Canada
• Want to join a winning team with growth for the future
